I bought the SnugGlider as a baby shower gift and it arrived very promptly from Right Start. I was then contacted by the recipient of the gift and told that the motor did not work. I contacted Right Start who confirmed that they would exchange the item and sent me a UPS label for return of the item. When the family went to return the item for exchange, they discovered from Right Start that 2 days after my enquiry they went into Chapter 11 bankruptcy. The customer service representative was very polite and apologetic, but confirmed that there was no way to exchange the item and no possibility of a refund. Please don’t buy from Right Start if it appears by chance as a vendor on Amazon.

Do you all realize that multiple studies have demonstrated that the longer a baby remains in a car seat the lower his oxygen levels drop? If the infant’s oxygen levels reach dangerous lows then the resulting hypoxia places the infant at risk of developmental delays, lowered IQ, etc. or even positional asphyxia (suffocation due to an overly curled position).

This is why the American Academy of Pediatrics recommends that car seats be used only for in-vehicle transportation purposes.
I’m amazed Graco has this product on the market.

for the price you pay, its ok. but if you live in america where you can buy many BETTER stuff and not crazy more expensive than this, i suggest you to buy something more smoothly working than this noisy machine! the finishing also very cheap…

This is great in concept and seemed to work fine…we have a small home and were looking to use space efficiently. However, we did not get a chance to really test it out since it turned out our baby HATED the carseat!

I got this small swing b/c we have no room for large items in our home. My first child had a Graco full size swing which broke in 6 months. It was over $100 dollars and was brand new when I took it to the dump. What a waste. Anyway, this swing has not actually been used yet, but the SnugRide carseat fits in it perfectly. It plays music, nature sounds and vibrates. Seems just fine for the money and if you are looking for a space saver. You could take it with you on a trip if needed b/c it is somewhat compact for the car.
